I left her for the other..

I left her for the other... Well we had much fun together, i can't lie. You introduced me to the world of smart phones & the infinite possibilities. But like some couples do, we must part ways. Sorry it had to be the day before Valentines Day but i know you truly understand. You see she came along and showed me a different way of goi...ng about things, her touch, the way she slides & glides, when i talk to her she listens & talks back. She even types for me when i speak. I often wondered if you listened to me when i would speak to you. Trust me this is hard for me as it is for you. I know you understand & you'll always remain close. But i had to go with the My Touch 4G & the TeamAndroid Blackberry .. So now it will be "
Thoughts trapped in my Android"....
S/N: really looking forward to the social media, video capabilities & the photography apps...

Oh no, Not Another Canyon Shot

Red Rock Canyon is one of those magical creations of mother nature. The energy is relaxing & offers a great escape from the busy 24hr activities of the Las Vegas atmosphere. Red Rock has a ton of trails for hiking & bike riding. I personally enjoy the peacefulness & the photography experience of capturing this great landscape during my existence in this lifetime.

Here is some more Geology info about Red Rock..

The Red Rock Area has a complex geological history, which over millions of years, helped to create the dramatic landscape that characterizes the region.

Sunset Park

Sunset Park, originally uploaded by Darius Goins.
Sunset Park is one of the parks here in Vegas i stop at from time to time. I enjoy the serenity of this park with the lake & different species of fowl. I enjoy nature a lot so this is a perfect fit for me to take a walk and think about things or projects that I'm working on.

Here is a little more info about this park..
Sunset Park, one of the largest parks in Las Vegas, is located near McCarran Airport in the southeast part of town. The park is bordered by Sunset Road on the north, Eastern Avenue to the west, Warm Springs Road.

Valley of Fire

Valley of Fire, originally uploaded by Darius Goins.
The Valley of Fire derives its name from red sandstone formations, formed from great shifting sand dunes during the age of dinosaurs, 150 million years ago. Complex uplifting and faulting of the region, followed by extensive erosion, have created the present landscape. Other important rock formations include limestones, shales, and conglomerates. Prehistoric users of the Valley of Fire included the Basket Maker people and later the Anasazi Pueblo farmers from the nearby fertile Moapa Valley. The span of approximate occupation has been dated from 300 B.C. to 1150 A.D. Their visits probably involved hunting, food gathering, and religious ceremonies, although scarcity of water would have limited the length of their stay. Fine examples of rock art left by these ancient peoples can be found at several sites within the park.

869-GIRL

869-GIRL, originally uploaded by Darius Goins.

This is mobile advertising at its best here in Vegas. These guys drive up & down the strip all day & night promoting some of these services. But don't get it confused, prostitution is NOT LEGAL in Clark County Nevada, aka Las Vegas. It's a fine line on the issue, no money exchange for sexual activities. Most of these promotions are for escort services, which after the fact, you know what it is once they get to your room or location.
Just be careful is all i can say.....Would be rather sad to come out & end up on Las Vegas Cops edition for trying to buy some A$$! lol....

Stairway to......

This is the Stairway to any place one chooses! This is actually a reflection & representation of climbing higher to achieve certain goals & things. At least this was what i visioned as i was shooting this shot!

My Music

My Music, originally uploaded by Darius Goins.
This is a shot i took of some equipment i have in the lab. I still use my MPC 2000XL as the brain of my music operation. I know many that upgraded from the 2000 to the 2500 or 4000. For some reason i couldn't let mines go. It's one that I will probably always keep to be honest.
