Lets face it. Often times life deals the hand you're dealt & you're forced to play your hand as is. So instead of complaining bout your hand, teach yourself how to play the hand you have the best possible way. Its so easy to look at someone else life & wish we had their life or think what it would be like to do what their doing because their life seems better in some way. Truth of the matter is you're only looking from the outside & have no clue what it takes to maintain or what they've been through to make it to where they are in their lives. We all want comfort, security peace & happiness, but one thing about life is that it's not given. It has to be created. You have to create the level of comfort & happiness you desire during your lifetime. I've been guilty myself of watching someone else's life & thinking with the " if mines was like theirs" mentality. That only lasted a short while because I'm on my own journey & all of my trials & tribulations are molding me & shaping me into what I am to become, and thats my friend is a greatness. It all starts in the mind.. happiness, comfort, security & peace within. Its all about balance & knowing how to accept the good & bad of life. Just like cards, you may win a hand & you may loose a hand, but in the end you're playing your own & it's nothing ever greater than that.

Free your mind
We are creating our lives with our thoughts. The pessimist, the optimist, the free spirits, we’re all creating the situations and occurrences of our day to day lives with each thought. The admissions of stress, the invitations to despair, the unconscious submission to “impossibilities” are self imposed prisons. We attrac...t whatever we choose to give our attention to, whether it’s wanted or unwanted. We have to work on changing our thoughts into a more positive direction. When a negative thought enters our mind, we have to catch it, stop ourselves, and turn it into something positive. Simple practices like this can reposition us and change our lives around. We flirt with frustrations and party with pity just to get nowhere. Instead of being the victim in our lives, and letting things happen to us, we have to realize that it is us and us alone that are responsible for what happens in OUR lives. Free your mind and the rest will follow....

What you know vs. What they say”
If you aren’t willing to do what it takes to get where you need to go then do as most statues and stand still alone. Don’t judge those changing and making sacrifices to get to what they know they deserve. You don’t have to like it, you may not even approve, just care enough to respect it. There are two types of criticism, constructive and destructive; life is tearing enough people down, be the person who builds people up. And to those being judged, understand that you can be happy without people being happy for you, so stop looking for approval. Opinions are fickle, it’s like everybody telling you to stop wasting money playing the lottery but commending your persistence when you hit the jackpot. Insight is amazing but intuition is divine, so trust your instincts because it’s the part of you that won’t allow you to lose. Speak life to those around you, smile at a stranger, laugh with a co-worker. Take a position of power and make your environment respond to you instead of being influenced by your environment. We shouldn’t judge people who are trying to live better or those who are chasing their dreams, we may not condone it but we can at least be humble enough not to condemn it. Happiness is fitting the frame of who you really are, not the image of who you are to others, go get what you know regardless of what they say
