Mrs. Dash Ad Campaign
Latest project is this Mrs. Dash ad campaign... It's simple, a couple 30 second video ads telling why one loves Mrs. Dash & how it pulsates in one's veins. Sounds simple but the key is telling the story & making it interesting within 30 seconds. I'm always up for the challenge & love these types of projects.
The Basics
I never go anywhere without my Mac & Canon... Been enjoying the CS6 & been doing a lot of work recently between Final Cut & Premier Pro for video editing. Haven't decided which i prefer better so I'm still bouncing between the two. Each have their strong points & weak points. Like anything else it all boils down to personal preference. I can show videos I've edited with each & you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I'm a software junkie so I tend to keep all types of software handy for special purposes.
Travel Items
When being on the move traveling & working on various things, a few necessities are required. Certain magazines I still need in actual print form like the Entrepreneur & Inc which are business magazines for latest news, ideas & trends. Smart phones, currently the Samsung Galaxy S3 & the iPhone 4S, the mobile credit card reader & a bottle of 1800 for end of the evening/ morning relaxation..
Creative Supply Kit
Everyone has their process to spark their creativity.. This happened to me one night while editing & working on a few other projects. The Shock Top Belgian White was incredible but an acquired taste. No introduction needed to the Hennessy & Cuervo and if one is needed you probably don't need it lol..
Tech Deck, Its the youth in me
So I've gotten introduced to the Tech Deck finger boards & I must say they're interesting in relieving stress and sparking my creative interest. Sitting back skateboarding with my fingers while in deep thought about an idea or situation is the life .. So "Lets Get It Poppin' Son!"
Egg Nog & Hennessy
Tis would be the season for Henny & Egg Nog.. Ever since i could remember this was a drink many "old heads" I've known would drink around the holidays. Guess I'm carrying on the tradition in a sense.
Snowboard Season is Upon Us
Recently inside of Dicks Sporting Goods & a few other places rounding up Snowboard gear.. Excited to hear about the snow fall so far but definitely would love to see more in certain areas. We're always staying in tune with the weather to see which locations are best.
Back Like I Never Left
Ok ok, i know its been a long while since I've posted & many of you probably even considered I've left this blog entirely.. Not true at all lol.. Over the past year I've been working extremely hard on a number of projects. Made a lot of things happen, done a lot of traveling & been all over the United States over the past year.
RIP Steve Jobs
I feel honored to have lived throughout this period in history of mankind. I have gotten a chance to really witness amazing human beings who contributed to our society & existence in a whole. As we get older, we witness the death of these great people, which may seem like nothing to the average mind, but I know im living in a period of history that will be taught about in the next 100 to 200yrs & beyond. From James Brown, Michael Jackson, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, witnessing the first African American president, the list could go on & on.. My consciousness of this is why i do what i do, think how i think and will not stop pursuing my goals & dreams. All of these great people are my inspiration daily, to see & witnessed what they've done is truly amazing to me. I hope my contributions to mankind could be as great as theirs after I've left the physical form of earth as well. All of these greats will forever live because of their impact & energy left upon us. Another reason why i refuse to get caught up in anything petty or irrelevant outside of what I'm creating. Only so much time here in this crazy world, how can you spend it entertaining anything that's irrelevant or anything that really doesn't matter at the end of your life. Live with purpose, life with no purpose is lifeless & really has no meaning. It's so easy to get caught up in the moment which will have you stuck in the moment. Gotta THINK BIG in order to do great things, dreams have no capacity, only as far as the mind can vision. Be bold, fearless & have the courage to pursue anything you set your mind too! I feel its only right we make a positive impact & contribution to our society & mankind from our generation for those to follow. Have a great evening world, just a thought that crossed my mind while remembering some of the greats who are passing on before us.
