You ever had somebody special in your life
They didn’t have to tell you they were special you just knew

It had you replaying old conversations in your mind and laughing at the same things all over again
That somebody who made you stare at the nights sky and make the stars spell their name
The person you didn’t mind sitting on the phone with all night talking about nothing
The somebody that would kiss you with morning breath, then tell you to go brush your teeth
The person that wouldn’t just tell you what they thought you wanted to hear
Somebody who actually took the time to show they cared
Someone who loved your flaws and accepted them as being apart of you
That person who knew just how to piss you off and was smart enough to stop before it got there
The type of person that took pride in making you happy
That someone that had been hurt before just like you
That had been unappreciated and taken for granted just like you
That gave their all and got nothing just like you
The somebody who could make you laugh till your stomach and cheeks hurt
You know that somebody with that contagious smile and those heart melting hugs
The type of person who would kiss the tears away, because they felt wiping was too rough
The somebody who believed in your smallest dreams
That person who could call you from a thousand different numbers but you still recognize their voice
You know the person who you held hands with in the movies just to feel closer
You know…
Well maybe you don’t…

The perfect mistakes

Sometimes we make mistakes. We hurt people, we lie, and we fail, it’s the reality of life. We’re human, our intentions are perfect but our actions will never be. Don’t limit yourself just because people place limitations on you. Aspire to be better and strive for excellence because it will motivate you; don’t strive for perfection, it will only discourage you. Don’t be afraid to be criticized, the only way to avoid criticism is to do nothing, and thats not an option. Greatness is achieved when ordinary people desire to do extraordinary things. Fix your eyes on virtues such as peace of mind, joy, and love. Seek greatness, not perfection, seek happiness, not approval, people will bask in your failures until you show them they’ve pushed you to your success. A hater is nothing more than a pessimistic admirer; only a diamond can scratch a diamond, so even when those doubters throw stones they still can’t phase you. Enjoy your mistakes and embrace your flaws, give up on being perfect and begin working on becoming yourself. Greatness isn’t in perfection, it’s in originality and that comes with a few mistakes along your journey.

Your beliefs, your goals, your dreams, your ambitions, your fears, your passions are all what make you; YOU. They shouldn’t be dependent on what those in your family have always done. They shouldn’t be reliant on the direction your friends have decided to take. It doesn’t matter what faults others deem you to have and it doesn’t matter how much baggage people complain about you carrying. Your weight is measured on your scale. The people passing judgment on the decisions you’ve made underestimate the likelihood of them sharing the very same shortcomings you have. Where your friends are in life have no relevance on the position and direction you plan to go in yours. Make your own trail, at your own pace, doing what’s right for your life.

Never Loose Faith in Flying

Keep fighting. Keep persevering. Keep living. Conquerors move in faith, cowards are bullied by fear. If you’re still breathing, the Universe is not through with you yet. You may feel like you’re losing but you waking up this morning is evidence that you haven’t lost. Be encouraged, the Universe has the final say in every situation regarding you. It may be hard to see but you are not alone and your efforts are not in vain. Every failure is a steppingstone, every trial is a gateway to triumph, and every fall is new strength to rise again. Don’t be fooled into believing the Universe doesn’t want you to live abundantly. It wants more for you than you could ever imagine for yourself. However, if it says no to it, your life has no use for it. Fear binds you; faith frees you. Allow your faith to stretch past the confines you’ve placed on your reality. For when you’re truly on the road to your destiny, speed bumps may slow you down, but nothing will stop you. Not your job, not your family, and especially not your “friends.” So be strong, be fearless, and be faithful. The storm doesn’t last always. Get up & fly again...

Twitter shuts down UberTwitter & Twitdroyd....

While some disparage Twitter as a waste of time for people who want to share info about what they ate for lunch with the masses, Twitter has also become big business and has been used for downright serious purposes such as communications among protesters and the rest of the world during unrest in the Middle East recently. Reports have surfaced recently that companies like Google and Facebook have pursued buying Twitter for as much as $10 billion.
UberMedia, after getting its popular UberTwitter and other mobile social media apps shut down Friday by Twitter for alleged terms of service breaches, is reportedly changing its name to UberSocial as part of its effort to meet Twitter's terms.
Twitter says it suspends "hundreds of applications" that violate its privacy and other API policies, but it was the microblogging site's suspension of the popular UberMedia UberTwitter, UberCurrent and twidroyd apps that sparked a big social media to-do.
The term "#ubertwitter" jumped to the front of the Twitter trending topics line ahead of "Queen Gaga" and the Radiohead-related "Thomas Yorke" and "Lotus Flower" as word spread of the popular mobile Twitter client's at least temporary shutdown (for good measure, ubertwitter also was among the top 10 Google searches this afternoon). UberTwitter users flooded Twitter with pleas -- often colorfully worded -- to sort things out.
S/N: For many who doesn't know, Twitter ranks number 2 in the search engine department these days.
Search engine rankings per month:
* Google: 88 billion per month
* Twitter: 19 billion per month
* Yahoo: 9.4 billion per month
* Bing: 4.1 billion per month
Twitter does 18 billion searches a month, working off the 600 million per day figure? Williams said the monthly figure is closer to 19 billion.
So as you can see, Twitter is a must in my opinion if you are engaged in any type of social media at all. It's all in how you apply Twitter to your brand that makes it useful & beneficial.

Ask yourself what it is you really want; do you want convenience or happiness? A hurt woman will recognize a good man but won’t know how to accept him if she’s allowed her pain to divide her. A scared man will easily miss a good woman because he knows what to run from, not what to look for. We all have this warped perception of who we’re supposed to be with. We try to find our partners based off of our past mistakes and that’s why we end up lost & confused with false happiness. Don’t ever confuse being different with being better. Every person you have a connection with won’t be the person you’re supposed to have a relationship with. Everybody isn’t meant to last a full season in your life. Some people are just that one day of 60 degree weather in the winter cold. Don’t be fooled into thinking you can make love appear and disappear when it benefits you. Love doesn’t happen on your time, it happens at the right time; and only the Universe determines that my friend..

Dear February 14th,

For the record, I don’t hate you. I actually owe you an apology, because like many I’ve had you misunderstood for awhile now. I’M SORRY. Valentines Day is the one day in our society that outshines the hate. It’s the ONE day that love gets to win. It’s the one day where romance and chivalry have favor over the game players and procrastinators. It’s the one day those of us who still believe in the Universal promise & can visualize our dream of one day being in love without being ridiculed or called “hopeless.” So what if some people are faking the funk, so what if it’s not shown every day of the year as it should be, so what if some people don’t celebrate it. SO WHAT? What holiday, celebration, or commemoration doesn’t have its naysayers? We’re all entitled to our opinions and that doesn’t make those who oppose the day haters or bitter. Whether I celebrate the day with a loved one or celebrate the day basking in my independence, I am proud of those with the courage to keep…LOVING. In-spite of circumstance, in-spite of how hopeless some call you, and in-spite of how naive some say you are. I commend you for having the willingness to TRY. Those who are blocking their own happiness may see your actions on this day as pointless but you keep pressing on regardless. Some may not understand but you all fly high anyway. Thanks February 14th for reminding those few who still care that there is hope still.

Sorry it had to be the day before Valentines Day but i know you truly understand. You see she came along and showed me a different way of goi...ng about things, her touch, the way she slides & glides, when i talk to her she listens & talks back. She even types for me when i speak. I often wondered if you listened to me when i would speak to you. Trust me this is hard for me as it is for you. I know you understand & you'll always remain close. Acceptance

No matter how long we’ve known a person, no matter the relationship or bond, you’ll only ever know as much about somebody as they want you to know. Just like onions, we all have layers and we peel them back one by one showing each other new things. Trust people to be who they’ve always shown you they are, that should be the expectation, anything beyond that should be seen as potential but not taken for promise. Every adult isn’t grown, age defines time, it doesn’t measure maturity. However we aren’t to judge people on the layers they reveal regardless of whether or not we approve, true serenity comes when we trade our expectations for acceptance. To embrace and accept people as who they are does not require you to approve. We all may agree on the necessity of growth and change but we won’t all be in agreement on how we do it.

Honestly I think about giving up at least 4 times a week. I get tired, weary, and fed up. You have those who say stuff like “things could always be worse;” but at times it’s hard to find encouragement in that, especially if “worse” is always what happens. Sometimes life makes it seems like the good people deserve to end up with the hardest times. And it’s easy to feel defeated by that fallacy until we realize the answers are often waiting for us in the presence of our problems. In a perfect world when we ask for patience, wisdom, and strength, the Universe would just give it to us. But unfortunately that’s just not how it works. When we pray, what we're blessed with are opportunities to be patient, chances to be wise, and moments to be strong. Life will never give the triumph without the trials and if it does prepare for tribulation. The only way to appreciate being at the top is having a humble understanding of what it took to get there. Though quitting is sometimes a thought in my mind, it’s never an option in my life. Never!...

Life to be....

Nothing is more precious than the birth of life. A welcome of pure innocence into the world of unfamiliar. Funny thing is when a child is born, their lives can go in any direction one chooses. Mainly depends on the path the parents put them on & introduce them to. I do believe we are born equal, now after that is a different story lol. Once you enter the world, well thats a different ball game altogether. This is my newborn cousin while still in the womb a few days before she entered the world. I can't wait to do some baby shots & learn her personality. Congratulations cuz on the new edition to the family. Love you guys much!

Lets face it. Often times life deals the hand you're dealt & you're forced to play your hand as is. So instead of complaining bout your hand, teach yourself how to play the hand you have the best possible way. Its so easy to look at someone else life & wish we had their life or think what it would be like to do what their doing because their life seems better in some way. Truth of the matter is you're only looking from the outside & have no clue what it takes to maintain or what they've been through to make it to where they are in their lives. We all want comfort, security peace & happiness, but one thing about life is that it's not given. It has to be created. You have to create the level of comfort & happiness you desire during your lifetime. I've been guilty myself of watching someone else's life & thinking with the " if mines was like theirs" mentality. That only lasted a short while because I'm on my own journey & all of my trials & tribulations are molding me & shaping me into what I am to become, and thats my friend is a greatness. It all starts in the mind.. happiness, comfort, security & peace within. Its all about balance & knowing how to accept the good & bad of life. Just like cards, you may win a hand & you may loose a hand, but in the end you're playing your own & it's nothing ever greater than that.
