I thought this was cool to have my photo selected for Schmap's Las Vegas Guide. This just proves my point in the power of social media & networking, how things can happen. If you aren't familiar with Schamp, i suggest you step your game up & get familiar. I will post a brief introduction of Schmap & give you the link to check them out yourselves. Yep it's that season again. Its Xmas Eve morning and I'm sitting here thinking of all that needs to get done. It's seems to have no ending before it even starts. That's the beauty of life though, the journey & travels itself.

I remember coming up, this time of year would be so strong & electric feeling from all of the energy & hype of anticipation during the previous months.

This is a view of the Aria Resort & Casino at the City Center here in Vegas. These architecture in these buildings is amazing. The city center gives me a futuristic type of feel to it.

This is a guy I met while down around the Freemont area a few weeks back. I met him by walking down the side walk and he asked if i had any change? Deep down, i knew it was coming once i spotted him turning the corner. I had already made up in my mind how I would handle the situation since i was looking to do photography that evening any way.

I got closer and he said, "excuse me.. do you have any change, I just want something to eat". I replied "sure, but better yet you could help me in a way that you don't even realize." He looked puzzle for a moment and i proceeded telling him i would give him $20 if he let me take a few pictures of him. I figured this way its a win win for both of us. He was hungry, and i wanted pictures outside of my usual subject.

This is a shot I took that was interesting seeing how close the handle and this lion was inside the Indoor Lion Habitat. The Habitat is located inside the MGM Hotel & Casino here in Vegas. They say they rotate the lions throughout the day with other lions from the habitat a few miles outside of the city.

This picture to me looks like cuddle time after a meal.

A little about me is that I'm originally from NC.I've been here in Vegas for a few years now & I love Vegas. I think Vegas offers so much diversity & opportunity if done correctly. My niche has always been creativity, although in the " years of knowing everything " i neglected my true talents in pursuit of what seemed right on the surface.
I found myself making career choices that my heart had nothing to do with. I've done everything from temp jobs to no jobs, military, truck driving, plus more, and none of them were able to challenge my creative side.

This is one of the samplers/drum machines that i use to make beats with. I really enjoy the 2000XL, although i know to many its outdated by now, but i enjoy the sound in comparison to the others. As with anything, its all in personal preference.
